Is a prescription guaranteed?
Prescription is not guaranteed. A licensed provider will review your medical history and determine whether treatment is appropriate.
Are these FDA-approved medications?
Compounded medications, if prescribed, are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy.
What's the difference between brand-name and compounded GLP-1?
Brand-name medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound) are FDA-approved by their manufacturers. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed pharmacies and are not FDA-approved. They are not the same and should not be marketed as equivalents.
Who shouldn't use a GLP-1?
GLP-1 medications are prescription treatments and are not appropriate for everyone. Tell your provider about any history of pancreatitis, medullary thyroid cancer, MEN2, severe GI disease, gallbladder or kidney disease, eating disorders, or pregnancy/breastfeeding.
What side effects should I expect?
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and decreased appetite. They typically improve over the first few weeks. Severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, or signs of an allergic reaction warrant emergency care.
What states do you serve?
We serve: [CLIENT TO CONFIRM]. If your state isn't currently supported, we'll let you know before charging anything.
Are labs required?
Some clinicians may require recent labs (A1c, CMP, lipids) before approving treatment.
